Jack has finally admitted that he cheated on his exam. Telling the truth has brought relief, but it has not removed the consequences.
Mr Adams informs Jack that he will be removed from the sports team for two weeks, causing him to miss an important game. Jack is disappointed, but he begins to understand that taking responsibility is part of putting a wrong choice right.
Meanwhile, Allie receives wonderful news: Uncle John is recovering. Her prayers for him lead Melody to ask an important question: how do you actually pray? Sally explains that prayer is simply talking with God and that He wants to hear about every part of their lives.
Jono and his dad explore the story of Cain and Abel and discover another example of choices and consequences. Abel follows God's instructions, while Cain decides to do things his own way. Anger and jealousy eventually lead Cain to a terrible decision that costs his brother his life.
Through Jack's experience, the story of Cain and Abel and their growing understanding of prayer, the children discover that God's Rescue Plan still requires a response.
God provides the pathway, but each person must choose whether to follow it.
